INTERPOL’s Christian Heggen will open a discussion on emerging cyber threats in Asia at an event in Singapore on Wednesday, 30 September.
The Norwegian Business Association Singapore is bringing together security specialists from INTERPOL, Norges Bank Investment Management and Norwegian bank DNB. Heggen, INTERPOL’s cybercrime intelligence coordinator, will introduce the topic before a panel on security in the age of artificial intelligence.
The panel includes INTERPOL’s chief information security officer Bjørn R. Watne, NBIM security engineer Manish Periwal and DNB vice president Kristian Berntzen. Manisha Dogra of Telenor Asia will moderate. Norway’s ambassador to Singapore, Leif Trana, is scheduled to give the closing remarks.
The discussion will focus on AI-driven cyber threats and ways businesses can strengthen security and governance. It takes place at Telenor’s offices in Guoco Tower from 5 pm to 6.30 pm. Admission is free for NBAS members and S$30 for other guests.
