Danes Worldwide invites Danes living in Asia and other Nordic expats with ties to Denmark to join the Danes Worldwide Run 2025 anywhere between April 28 and May 4, 2025. Whether you’re in Bangkok, Singapore, or Shanghai, you can participate in this run which is organized in collaboration with Hansen Run.
It’s a virtual event, meaning you can run, jog, or even rollerblade at your own pace, in your own location. Whether you prefer a scenic park, a city street, or your neighborhood treadmill, you set the course and time that works best for you.
Joining the run is simple:
1. Sign up on https://www.sportstiming.dk/event/15218, where you’ll receive your personal start number and a link to submit your result.
2. Choose your own route and run anytime between April 28 and May 4.
3. Track your time and submit your result online.
4. If you want, you can purchase a specially designed Danes Worldwide Run T-shirt to mark the occasion.
All participants will receive a start number, a digital diploma, and a unique Danes Worldwide medal (which can be shipped worldwide). There are also prizes for the fastest runners and for the best-dressed participants—so get creative with your Danish red-and-white outfits!
One of the best parts of the Danes Worldwide Run is the sense of global community. Participants are encouraged to share photos of their run on Facebook or Instagram, tagging Danes Worldwide. The best photos will be featured in a newsletter, and you’ll have a chance to win the prize for best costume!
The entry fee is 110 DKK plus a small processing fee. Shipping costs apply if you choose to receive a medal, but group registrations can help reduce postage fees. If you don’t want a medal, you can opt out to save on shipping.
