On 20 May 2021 Maersk announced an achievement in South East Asia, the statement read:
We are proud to announce that Maersk Vietnam has been chosen as the winner of the 2020 Dow South East Asia S4TAR – Best Warehouse award. Throughout 2020, Maersk has continuously shared the programs carried out on D&I, along with initiatives on the safety reporting platform and participating in a joint Partnership for an Environmental Projection Campaign. Last year, Maersk Vietnam led the Warehouse performance category for Dow in three consecutive quarters, resulting in the Best Warehouse award.
The S4TAR Program is one of the approaches through which Dow, in collaboration with value chain partners, is pursuing safe, reliable, and competitive supply chain breakthroughs. The initiative is also driving transparency, accountability and commitment for sustainable and profitable growth.
