National Conference on Business Integrity in Phnom Penh

On Thursday 15 December 2016, Ms. Martina Fors Mohlin, First Secretary at the Embassy of Sweden in Phnom Penh, participated in the National Conference on Business Integrity organised annually by Transparency International Cambodia. The Conference seeks to engage key participants from civil society, government and private sector to promote and raise awareness of clean business practices and corruption as an obstacle for private sector development in Cambodia.

During the National Conference on Business Integrety, TI Cambodia released its Case Study on Tax Systems which explores recent reforms to the tax system in Cambodia, specifically the Royal Government of Cambodia’s creation of an online platform for business registration and the elimination of the “estimated tax regime.”
