New Board of Danish Church in Thailand

Five new boardmembers were elected for the Danish Church Thailand at the Annual General Meeting of the Church on Monday 31 March 2025 in the house of the Danish Church in Soi Ruamrudi 4.

Three of the new board members were present at the meeting, Liv Stagsted, Rene Dam Andersen and Claus Nielsen and two were elected in absentia, Peter Romhil and Kristin Koed. The five new members will join the reelected board members, Ole Kappelgaard , Jan Dam Pedersen, Charlotte Duelund, Martin Kyhn and Nicolaj Stubbe Hoerlyck. The decision who will be the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer will be decided at the first board meeting to be held on 22 April 2025.

The meeting heard the report of the outgoing Chairman Jacob Overbye Brodal and the new Pastor Nicolaj Stubbe Horlyck which had managed an impressive lot of acitivties since he took over the job in Septemver last year. The transitional year had unfortunately resulted in some expenses having been paid without proper documentation, but the meeting decided to accept the accounts, expressing confidence that both expenses and income during the next financial year would be fully documented.

The activities and budget for the coming year will be drawn up by the incoming board.

Pastor Nicolaj Stubbe Horlyck thanked outgoing Chairman Jacob Brodal for preparing a smooth introduction for him to start the work with all documents digitalised and easy to manage.
