A global creative showdown has crowned new winners in Cannes, and Nordic and Asian teams are once again making their mark.

At the 2026 Cannes Lions Young Lions Competitions, young creatives from around the world were tested under extreme pressure. They had just 24 hours to turn a real-world brief into a full campaign for a good cause, Adobo Magazine reports.

Among the strongest performers were teams from Norway, Denmark, China, and Hong Kong.

Norway stood out in PR, where a creative duo from NoA Anorak took gold with a concept exploring space as a shared human identity. Denmark also secured awards in Print and Film, showing strong Nordic consistency across categories.

From Asia, China delivered a gold-winning digital idea through Havas Creative China, while Hong Kong teams impressed in both Media and PR, with campaigns focused on inclusion and visibility.

The competition brought together more than 400 young professionals under 30. All were judged during the Cannes Lions Festival in France, one of the world’s most prestigious stages for advertising and creativity.
