The Nordic Centre at Fudan University hosted a welcome party last Friday to mark the beginning of the new semester, bringing together students from various backgrounds for an evening of games, networking, and cultural exchange.
According to the Nordic Centre, the highlight of the event was an open mic session featuring student performances. A Finnish student presented a reading of Finnish and Chinese poetry, while Chinese students performed a song accompanied by guitar. The gathering provided a platform for both Nordic and Chinese cultures to connect in a creative and engaging way.
The centre expressed gratitude to all attendees and hinted at more upcoming events throughout the semester.
