
Norway and Vietnam have signed a “Green Strategic Partnership” aimed at boosting cooperation on climate and sustainable industries.
The Norwegian Embassy in Vietnam said in a press release.
The agreement focuses on areas like renewable energy, ocean industries and the circular economy, and is expected to create new opportunities for companies in both countries.
Norway already has experience in green shipping and energy, which it now aims to bring into closer cooperation with Vietnam.
The deal also marks 55 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
