Norway’s Ambassador to Thailand Astrid Emilie Helle has met Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul as she concludes her posting in Thailand.

The meeting reaffirmed the close partnership between Norway and Thailand, with discussions focusing on opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, green energy, technology and sustainable development.

Helle and Anutin also highlighted the importance of the Thailand–EFTA Free Trade Agreement as a platform for strengthening trade and investment between Thailand and the EFTA countries, including Norway.

The ambassador also expressed Norway’s continued support for Thailand’s process towards membership of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Helle thanked Thailand for the close cooperation during her posting. The meeting was held at the Thai Government House, with official photographs provided by the Thai government.
