Norwegian Church in Pattaya invites community to shared dinner on 8 July

The Norwegian Church Abroad in Pattaya is inviting members of the local Norwegian community to join a shared dinner on 8 July.

The gathering will take place at Scandic Apartments & Restaurant on Pattaya Beach Road from 7pm to 9pm. As with previous dinners, members of the church’s staff will be present, and everyone is welcome to join.

The dinners for the Norwegian community were launched during the pandemic to bring people together at a time of isolation. They have since become a regular social event, with the group visiting different Norwegian restaurants around the Pattaya area.

Deadline to register is by 3pm on 8 July so the restaurant can prepare for the expected number of guests.
The church is also inviting Norwegian-owned restaurants in Pattaya that would like to host a future dinner to get in touch.

The shared dinners are part of ongoing efforts to create meeting places for Norwegians living in or visiting Thailand. This is to create an opportunity to strengthen community ties.
