For anyone who has witnessed the celebration of the day that the Norwegians gained their independent from Denmark, it’s without a doubt a day that will be remembered. Numerous parades, the significant red national costumes, and hundreds of Norwegian flags painting the street red, white and blue.
And in a bit more than a month, on May 17th, the day will naturally be celebrated once again, not only in Norway but also among the countless Norwegians living abroad.
And of course, the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the celebrations here in Thailand. The event will take place in the morning from 10:45-13:30 at the Norwegian Ambassador’s residence.
And as the sun goes down, a galla dinner will be held at Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit from 19:15.
