Vietnamese plane makes emergency landing to rescue Dane

On a flight from Germany to Vietnam, a Danish passenger stopped breathing. The doctor on board gave first aid, but the passenger needed to get to a hospital fast.

According to the Vietnamese newspaper VN Express, this caused the Vietnam Airlines plane to make an emergency landing in Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, getting the sick to a hospital as fast as possible.

Naturally the other passengers arrived in Hanoi three hours later but the Dane’s condition is now stable and he has been discharged from the hospital.
