On 28 March 2021 Spark! Philiipines released a thank you note to Women 2021, that read:
“There is ample evidence that empowering women politically has a number of positive consequences to society as a whole. For instance, empirical research shows that women tend to favor social programs that support poverty alleviation, healthcare, and education for the benefit of long term development.” – says the Swedish Ambassador in the opening remark.
“We would like to thank Ambassador Harald Fries from the Embassy of Sweden in Manila for taking part in Women2021 – Political Participation: Women and Governance. We look forward to more partnerships with you.”
