On 15 August 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized a special dinner on the occasion of the 84th Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit at the Thai Residence.
The event was attended by participants including representatives from the Danish Government, businessmen, academics and media personnel as well as foreign diplomats.
During the evening, the guests could explore an exhibition of arts and crafts from the Foundation of the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty.
The guests enjoyed a live cooking show and a buffet of typical dishes such as Beef Green Curry, Pad Thai, Som Tam (Papaya Salad) and Thai Style Grilled Chicken. Fresh tropical fruits from Thailand, namely rambutan, mangosteen, longan and jackfruit were presented as well.
The entertainment included cultural performances such as dance and music and was arranged by the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture of Thailand.
