On the occassion of last months devasteting typhoon in the Philippines the Swedish DJ Otto Knows has chosen to donate his salary from a performance in Manila on December 14 to UNICEF’s help aid, said his record company Universal in a press release.
The money is a contribution to the huge effort it will take to build up the country in the years to come.
Otto Knows is known from his mega hit and debut single “Million Voices” which also achieved double platin in Sweden.
The track was his entrance to the international house scene and at the same time he had the chance to warm-up for Swedish House Mafia on their leave-taking tour.
Otto Knows is currently busy touring Asia, where he last weekend December 6-8 had three performances with Avicii.
He is now heading to Sri Lanka and Singapore, before he ends his tour in Manila, where the salary will be donated to the rebuilding of the country after the typhoon.
