This summer Arsenal will make Asia tour, including Vietnam. As the global ambassador of the team, Fredrik Ljungberg will go before a station in Vietnam in early June.
Former Swedish player Fredrik Ljungberg will arrive in Vietnam and meet local fans on June 4 in HCM City.
Ljungberg then will visit the capital city for further activities.
The presence of Arsenal’s ambassador is considered a warm-up for the European giant’s visit to Vietnam on July 17.
Ljungberg, 36, played for Arsenal in 1998-2007. He played 216 matches and scored 46 goals. He also competed in two English Premier Leagues, three FA Cups and three Super Cups.
He was a member of the national team in 1998-2008 with 75 appearances and 14 goals.
Ljungberg announced his retirement last August from J-League’s Shimizu S-Pulse.
