A Swedish industry giant is making a move in Thailand.
Tetra Pak has opened a new food innovation centre in Rayong with one clear goal: speed. This was announced by the company itself.
The new centre is designed to help food and beverage companies get products from idea to supermarket shelves faster.
Companies can test recipes, tweak production and analyse taste, quality and shelf life – all in one place.
The move comes as the global food industry faces growing pressure to deliver more, faster and more sustainably.
Cutting time and costs
According to the company, the facility will help businesses reduce both development time and costs, while lowering the risk of failed product launches.
It will also give smaller companies access to advanced technology and expertise that would normally be out of reach.
Big ambitions for Thailand
The centre is located in Rayong, part of Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor – a key hub for future industry.
Thailand is already the world’s 12th largest food exporter, and the new facility is expected to strengthen its role as a regional food innovation hub.
