Swedish technology firm Hexagon AB will begin operations at its new South China headquarters in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, by the end of 2025.

Hexagon’s Shenzhen base will provide support for clients across Southeast Asia, enhancing the company’s presence in the region. The Stockholm-based group, which has previously set up centers in Shanghai and Qingdao, sees partnerships with local Chinese firms as key to staying adaptable and meeting regional industry needs.

At the recent China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Hexagon showcased its “Smart Manufacturing” approach, which enables a seamless, digital transition from design to production for Chinese clients, supporting quality management for companies like Weichai Holding Group and Shanghai Tobacco Group.
