Taste Europe: Finnish contribution was filmed at Moi Restaurant and Lounge in Beijing

This winter, the EUPOP-funded “Taste Europe” video campaign showcasing food cultures of different EU countries has been circulating on Chinese social media channels.

Finland’s episode was published last week. In this video, Finnish delicacies are presented as both easy to make and doable as the necessary raw materials are easy to find in China: cinnamon buns, Karelian pies, gravlax, malt bread and oatmeal.

The episode was filmed on location at Beijing’s only Finnish restaurant, Moi Restaurant and Lounge, but of course, the story begins and ends in a sauna – like a real Finnish story should.

The Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai announced published on 1 March a Thank you-note to Anna-Stiina Antola and Jousi, Susanna Mattress and Emilia, and June, Haiyan Sang and Jyri Lintunen, Business Finland, Maa- ja metsätalousministeriö, Ruokavirasto, Livsmedelsverket, Kyrö Distillery Company, Roberts Berrie, Kalaneuvos, MARIMEKKO,Myllyn Paras.
