Vietnam Education Publishing House is exploring cooperation with Swedish partners in education, publishing and digital learning.
The publisher discussed the opportunities during a meeting with Vietnam’s ambassador to Sweden, Tran Van Tuan, on 23 August. Representatives from the Vietnamese Teachers’ Club in Sweden and Vietnamese community organisations attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on supporting Vietnamese-language education among the Vietnamese community in Sweden. Teachers highlighted the need for suitable textbooks, teaching materials and teaching methods for children growing up in Sweden.
Vietnam Education Publishing House is interested in Sweden’s experience with digital publishing, educational technology and more sustainable printing and publishing.
The participants discussed possible connections with Swedish schools, libraries, cultural organisations, technology companies and other relevant partners.
Vietnam Education Publishing House donated books and learning materials to the Vietnamese Teachers’ Club in Sweden.
The meeting comes as Vietnam seeks to strengthen cooperation with Sweden in education, publishing, technology and innovation, while supporting Vietnamese-language education among the Vietnamese community.
