
Young Vietnamese students and professionals from across Europe gathered in Paris on May 9 as a major Vietnamese youth network expanded to 14 countries – including Finland.
According to Vietnams News Agency round 80 representatives took part in the meeting organised by the Vietnamese Youth and Student Federation in Europe (VYSEF), which works to connect Vietnamese people studying and working across Europe.
During the event, the organisation elected a new leadership team for the next five years and announced plans to improve support for Vietnamese students abroad, strengthen networking opportunities and launch more digital initiatives.
The network now includes member groups in countries such as Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK.
Over the past five years, the organisation has arranged student forums, cultural events and community activities aimed at helping young overseas Vietnamese stay connected with both each other and Vietnam.
