The Swedish based automaker’s Volvo latest creation is named the S60L and the model has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, in China. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been specifically designed for the large Asian country and it’s coming with an extended wheelbase, by 80 mm (3.1 inches), which now stands at a total length of 2,856 mm. Even if it doesn’t sound like much, there is a noticeable difference in the rear passenger compartment, where the legroom has significantly increased.
Volvo hasn’t released any details on the technologies used by the 2014 S60L and it’s not even talking about its design for the moment, but one thing is for sure: the engine options will be carried over from the standard car. This means that the 2014 Volvo S60L will become available with a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, producing 200 HP (147 kW), with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder, generating 241 HP (177 kW) and with a 300 HP (220 kW) 3.0 liter V6. Prices for the model haven’t been announced yet but it will go on sale in December.
