Swedish market introduced to Malaysian exporters

Swedish Import Council and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation on March 30 held a seminar in Kuala Lumpur to introduce the Swedish market to Malaysian exporters, reports the website of the Embassy of Sweden, Kuala Lumpur.
     Representatives from over 60 Malaysian companies attended the seminar to discuss export possibilities with Mr Börje Risinggård, Director of the Swedish Import Council.
     Other speakers included Mrs Catharina Björk of the Malaysian-Swedish Business Association and Mr. Kanny Sadayandy, former Economic Counselor of the Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm.
     Last year Malaysia’s exports to Sweden were valued at MYR 655 million. The country’s imports from Sweden amounted to MYR 1,300 million in value the same year.
