First Secretary Emanuel Lundin of the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok delivered the opening keynote at the Alfa Laval Asia Refinery Seminar on 4 August at the Lebua Hotel.
He was joined by Viktor Friberg, Managing Director of Alfa Laval Southeast Asia, senior company executives and Pornperm Thongsri, Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Energy.
Founded in Sweden in 1883, Alfa Laval is a global engineering company specialising in heat transfer, separation and fluid handling technologies, with operations in more than 100 countries.
According to the Swedish Embassy, Alfa Laval has supported Thailand’s food and beverage, refining and energy industries for more than 40 years through innovation and knowledge sharing, helping strengthen industrial competitiveness while supporting sustainable growth.
The seminar was held as part of the Embassy’s Made with Sweden initiative, which promotes Swedish innovation and long-term partnerships in Thailand.
