On 21 October 2020, the Norwegian ambassador H.E. Anita Norgaard announced a fruitful discussion last week with the Singapore’s Minister of Sustainability and Environment H.E. Grace Fu, on the matter of climate change,warming of the Arctic & rising sea levels, Marine Littering & rainforest.
Singapore’s Minister of Sustainability and Environment H.E. Grace Fu expressed: “Norway has achieved 97% recycling rate for plastic bottles, and recently launched the Longship — the first full-scale carbon capture, utilisation, and storage project. We are also like-minded partners who seek to facilitate knowledge exchanges and technical cooperation in ASEAN.”
