The Danish and Swedish churches in Bangkok will come together for a joint Easter service on Sunday 20 April 2025, at the Danish House, offering a special celebration for Scandinavians rounding off their Songkran holiday.
This year, the Thai New Year festival Songkran and Easter fall in the same week, prompting many residents to leave the city for the holidays. But for those returning in time, the Danish Church in Thailand invites everyone to mark the end of the break with a festive Easter service.
Hymns and the sermon will be in both Danish and Swedish, followed by an Easter lunch.
