The Danish Business Association Singapore will host a morning session about Singapore’s government agencies and innovation sector.
The event is called “Navigating the Singapore Ecosystem.” It takes place at Saxo Markets Singapore on Thursday, 17 September, from 8.00 to 9.00 am.
Two representatives from the Embassy of Denmark in Singapore will lead the session.
Annette Østergaard Jørgensen serves as Head of Public Diplomacy and Partnerships. She will introduce Singapore’s ministries, public agencies and innovation system.
Her presentation will also compare the Singaporean and Danish models. Singapore uses a highly coordinated approach led by government agencies.
Rasmus Bjørnø serves as Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Trade. He will explain how the embassy connects Danish and Singaporean partners.
The discussion will focus on sectors where Denmark has particular expertise. It will also examine how partnerships can support Singapore and Danish companies in the country.
Bjørnø has held several trade, climate and policy roles at Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His previous postings include Shanghai and Seoul.
Østergaard Jørgensen has worked with Danish public policy, international affairs and digital policy. She has lived and worked in Singapore for more than five years.
