Denmark’s ambassador visited Timor Leste

Apart from Indonesia, Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen is also accredited to Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and ASEAN.

The Ambassador paid a visit to Dili, Timor-Leste, to present his letter of credentials from Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark to the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, HE Francisco Guterres Lú Olo.

While in Dili the Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet senior members of the Timorese Government, including the Minister of Petroleum, Coelho da Silva, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Guterres, as well as the Election Commission.

The Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet Minister of State for National Security José Ramos-Horta who is also the former President of Timor-Leste, one of the founding fathers of the East Timorese resistance movement as well as Nobel Peace Prize winner.
