The court in Denmark has placed a 29 year old Thai woman from Odense in remand prison suspected of having brutally murdered another Thai woman who was working at a massage clinic in a small town called Gjern in Jutland in Denmark.
The court closed the doors during the hearing of the case, but the Danish daily Ekstra Bladet has obtained details of what possibly happened that fateful morning of 30 December 2024. According to the well informed Danish media, the suspect came to knock on the door to collect money from the operation of the clinic after it was already dark the night before on 29 December 2024. She was standing in for the regular collector, a close relative, who had reported sick. At first, the 42 year old victim did not open the door to the house which is normal when someone comes knocking late in the evening. Eventually she opened up and a fight should have taken place between the two women.
According to the police, the murder should have taken place the following morning between 9 and noon on the 30 December 2024. The suspect is also accused of having fled the scene in a stole Opel Corsa that morning.
However, the murder was carried out in a brutal way, her throat was cut and she had several fatal knife stab wounds to her stomach. Also, surprisingly, a flower was placed neatly next to her body when a Danish acquaintance found her in the afternoon on 30 December 2024.
The suspect was arrested the same evening in a small town two hours drive from the scene of the crime.
