Embassy of Finland in Yangon announced on 17 August 2020 that the office is back to operations in Myanmar. The Embassy was temporarily closed due to the corona virus pandemic. The embassy is located in a fragile area, which is why its operation and maintenance are subject to special requirements that could not be met.
Travel to and within Myanmar is subject to strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic. All non-essential travel to Myanmar should still be avoided.
