EXPAT HEALTH CONNECT at Bangkok Hospital

Bangkok Hospital has celebrated the opening of EXPAT HEALTH CONNECT, a dedicated service helping expats manage their healthcare needs with greater confidence. Medical professionals joined expat community leaders, patients, and partners to learn about the new platform and hear first-hand accounts of accessing treatment while living abroad.

The event began with introductory remarks from Dr. Parkpoom Chulapoomphinit, Deputy Hospital Director of Bangkok International Hospital. Dr. Pojnicha Mekaroonkamol, an American board-certified internist at Expat Health Connect Center, then outlined common health-related challenges that international residents face and how the team can assist.

A number of patients also shared their personal experiences, with Dr. Andy Schillinger of Miskawaan Health Group discussing his life in Thailand and the emergency treatment he received at Bangkok Hospital. Mr. Terry Adams of The British Club Bangkok also reflected on the high standard of care provided to him by the hospital over the past 25 years.

Mr. Frank Rameshni, Partner in Business Development at Injury Relief Chiropractic, spoke about the personalised attention provided throughout his time as a patient. Together, these accounts highlighted the importance of having a trusted medical team to rely on, giving expats and their families peace of mind as they navigate everyday life in a foreign country.

EXPAT HEALTH CONNECT offers primary and family healthcare services, plus assistance with enquiries, appointments, documents, and insurance, including coverage verification, pre-authorisation, and billing support. Located on the second floor of Bangkok International Hospital, the centre is open daily from 8am to 4pm and can be reached on 02-308-7083. Or WhatsApp: http://wa.me/66955576533
