Finnish Laurea University opens separate admissions in Vietnam for 2026 intakes

Finland’s Laurea University of Applied Sciences is running a separate admissions process in Vietnam for 2026 intakes, with exams in Ho Chi Minh City.

Finland’s Laurea University of Applied Sciences has opened a separate admissions process in Vietnam. It targets Vietnamese applicants for study programmes in Finland.

The university said the process offers more flexible evaluation than Finland’s national joint admissions. The national exams are typically held twice yearly.

Finnish education authorities reported 32,400 applicants in the Spring 2025 joint intake. About 8,600 were admitted, according to Vietnam VN.

Laurea’s Vietnam-focused intake lists Nursing, Tourism Management and an MBA among programmes open for 2026. Entrance exams are planned in Ho Chi Minh City.

Phase 1 applications run 13–26 April 2026, with exams 11–14 May 2026, for Autumn 2026 enrolment.

Phase 2 runs 14–30 September 2026, with exams 31 October–4 November 2026, for Spring 2027 enrolment.
