A new partnership between SAS and Garuda Indonesia will make it easier to travel between Scandinavia and Indonesia on a single ticket.

From the Winter 2026/2027 schedule, passengers flying with SAS will gain easier access to Indonesian destinations including Jakarta and Bali through Garuda Indonesia’s network, Travel Daily Media reports.

At the same time, Garuda passengers will get better connections to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo through SAS.

The agreement means travellers can book journeys that combine flights from both airlines, with connections through hubs such as Amsterdam, Tokyo Haneda and Bangkok.

“Garuda Indonesia is a key partner for connecting Scandinavia with Indonesia and the wider region. Together, we are making travel simpler and more seamless for the many people, businesses and communities with ties between our countries,” said SAS President and CEO Anko van der Werff.

The partnership also allows members of SAS EuroBonus and GarudaMiles to earn and redeem points across both airlines.
