IKEA Philippines is introducing a classic Swedish tradition to Manila with its new Crayfish Buffet Party, held every Friday evening at the brand’s Swedish restaurant in Pasay City.
According to IKEA Philippines, the buffet features unlimited trays of crayfish along with salads, desserts and bottomless drinks. The event, priced at PHP 495 for IKEA Family members and PHP 595 for others, runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Crayfish parties, or kräftskiva, are a popular late-summer tradition in Sweden where friends and family gather to enjoy crayfish, drinks and singing. By offering the buffet, IKEA aims to bring a taste of this cultural celebration to the Philippines.
The Crayfish Buffet Party takes place at IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant on the fourth floor of the store in the Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Tickets are available on site.
