A new kind of library has opened in Ho Chi Minh City, but without books, according to VOV World.
The concept, known as a “Human Library”, is based on a Danish initiative launched in 2000, where people share personal stories instead of written texts.
The project in Vietnam takes the form of a talkshow series featuring guests sharing experiences about culture and daily life in southern Vietnam.
The initiative is organised by the Lotus Fund and the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library and will run from April to November 2026.
