Norwegian airline Norse Atlantic Airways is promoting its Thailand services as it expands its presence on routes between Europe and Southeast Asia.

The airline, headquartered in Arendal, Norway, operates Boeing 787 Dreamliners and has included Bangkok among its destinations. Norse launched direct flights between Oslo and Bangkok in 2023 and has since expanded its Thailand operations.

Norse said in an April company update that demand for its Europe–Thailand services had been strong, with additional flights between the UK and Thailand added in March. The airline also reported increased searches for travel to the region.

In its first-quarter 2026 report, Norse said it had responded to changing travel patterns by adding capacity on its London Gatwick–Bangkok route. The airline said growing demand for direct Europe–Asia travel was supporting its strategy of focusing on point-to-point routes.

The expansion gives Nordic travellers another direct air link to Thailand as demand for travel between Europe and Southeast Asia continues to grow.
