Norwegian Charge d’ affaires discussed threats to the ocean in Vietnamese talkshow

The Norwegian Charge d’affaires a.i. Mr Jan Whilhelm Grythe recently participated in a TV Talk Show on oceans and solutions for the sustainable development of Vietnam’s ocean economy, according to an official statement from the Norwegian embassy in Vietnam on 6 July 2020.

Mr Jan Whilhelm Grythe shared Norway’s stories and experiences on the development and sustainable use of the blue ocean economy.

Norwegian CDA and Doctor Chu Hoi, former Deputy Director General of Administration of Vietnam Seas and Islands (VASI) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Mr Kempinski, Country Director of the Flora and Fauna International, discussed the challenges and solutions to the sustainable use and protection of oceans. The guests also attached importance to international cooperation in implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including #SDG14.
