Norwegian embassy in Hanoi welcomed the winner of Ambassador for a day campaign

On 17 April 2021 the Norwegian embassy released “Ambassador for a day” activity with the winner, Ms Do Quyen.

“This week, we had a hectic but very interesting day with our Ambassador for a Day – Ms Do Quyen,” the release says.

“Quyen is a senior student at the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. With her inspiring and unique video pitch to the Challenge launched by Ambassadors of Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden on 8 March, Quyen became the youngest among the four female Ambassadors for a day.”

Quyen said “I am very thankful for this amazing opportunity to understand what the Norwegian Ambassador and the Embassy do everyday not only for the Norway-Vietnam relationship but also for the good of society. The amazing people I met during the event have given me fresh perspectives on environmental and gender-related issues, which will be invaluable assets as I embark on my journey of youth engagement. I can’t wait to see other women leaders joining this journey with me.”

“One secret I would like to share: if you ever come across Ambassador Løchen running around Hoan Kiem lake, you probably will have to be in the peak of condition to catch up with her.”

The embassy noted “Thank you Quyen – a young talented and passionate girl. We wish you luck and success on your future path. We will meet again soon.”
