The Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok recently co-hosted a digital Brown Bag session on Youth Empowerment in Climate Action as part of the Human Rights Week 2021.
The event was organized in cooperation with the UNFCCC UN Climate Change -IGES Regional Collaboration Centre for Asia and the Pacific based in Bangkok (RCC Bangkok), UNDP in Asia, and the Pacific and youth organizations from the region.
Following the event, the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok highlighted how encouraging it was to see over 80 youths participating in the session where they exchanged experiences through climate action and COP26.
“Climate-smart and green transition paves the way for economic and social development, better living conditions, and sustainability across generations,” the Embassy concluded.
