Sweden has in April 2017 initiated regional collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to promote decent working conditions in Asia. The Embassy of Sweden, Bangkok has signed a co-funding agreement with the ILO on preparatory work for regional multi-stakeholder collaboration for decent working conditions, environmental sustainability, gender equality, sound industrial relations and social dialogue in the garment sector in Asia. The findings will be presented at a stakeholder meeting in June.
