British-Swedish curator James Taylor-Foster has been appointed executive director of Para Site in Hong Kong, according to Artforum.
Para Site is one of Hong Kong’s leading independent contemporary art centres.
Former curator in Stockholm
Taylor-Foster joins from Stockholm, where he has worked at ArkDes and Moderna Museet as curator of contemporary architecture and design.
He succeeds Billy Tang, who left the role in May 2025, and is expected to take up the position this summer.
In previous roles, Taylor-Foster has also been involved in Nordic cultural projects, including the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
