The Swedish beauty tech brand Foreo has launched on yet another branch of the Sunrise Duty-Free members’ app, this time in Shanghai, The Moodie Davitt Report writes.
To combat the traditional revenue streams heavily depressed by the COVID-19 crisis last year, foreo launched on Sunrise Duty-Free Beijing member’s app in May 2020. To drive recovery Foreo focused on digital expansion and the latest launch in Shanghai is aimed to further enhance its online presence in Chinese retail travel.
Sunrise Duty-Free regularly live-stream broadcasts on the app and each is viewed by around 300.000 people. The Swedish beauty tech company’s first live-stream on the app highlighted several of Foreo’s products along with its key benefits as well as interactive elements and KOL participation.
About the launch, Foreo Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong said that the company was pleased to have launched on the Shanghai edition of the Sunrise Duty-Free app. “Foreo is constantly seeking creative solutions to get ahead of the game and be at the forefront of digital expansion. A solid online presence is crucial for any brand in this day and age, and especially in the field of travel retail,” he said.
