The Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is hosting a week-long celebration of Swedish culture and innovation in Thailand, bringing together well-known Swedish brands and the local community for a showcase of heritage, design, and lifestyle.
Taking place from 5 to 11 April 2025 at IKEA Bangna, the event—dubbed Swedish Week—is anchored by the launch of IKEA’s Stockholm 25 collection, which reflects classic Scandinavian design principles. The celebration is co-hosted by SweCham in collaboration with four prominent Swedish companies: Electrolux, Fitness24Seven, Fysik, and THE THREE BY TPV.
Visitors to the Smaland area at IKEA Bangna can expect an immersive experience of Swedish aesthetics and values. The program includes engaging activities, product showcases, and storytelling around the brands’ connection to Sweden’s design legacy and lifestyle.
“Swedish Week is a celebration of everything we are proud of—our design, our innovation, and our community spirit,” writes the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce on its Facebook page.
“Through this event, we aim to strengthen the connection between Swedish businesses and the Thai public.”
As part of the event, guests are encouraged to discover the participating brands and their stories, and to share their own experiences online using #SwedishWeek. The celebration is not only a marketing showcase but also an expression of cultural exchange and soft diplomacy, aligning with SweCham’s mission to promote Swedish interests in Thailand since its founding in 1989.
More information is available on SweCham’s Instagram and website, where visitors can also explore upcoming co-branded business events planned by the chamber.
