Thailand’s ambassador to Denmark, Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, visited Reden Aalborg on 27 September to discuss its work supporting women in vulnerable situations.
She met with the organisation’s director, Jeanette Dam Kaastrup, and Thai cultural employee Pattinee Frederiksen. Reden Aalborg maintains close ties with the local Thai community.
Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the visit on 26 October.
Consular services for the Thai community
The visit formed part of a day of embassy activities in Aalborg. A mobile consular team assisted 56 people from the city and surrounding areas.
The team handled 27 passport applications, eight cases involving notarial services and civil registration, and 21 consular consultations.
The ambassador also attended the opening of Thai Kultur Festival 2026. The festival featured Thai music, classical dance, cultural performances and stalls selling food and products.
