Thai Embassy in Copenhagen to host mental health training for Thai community

The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen has announced that, in collaboration with Thailand’s Department of Mental Health under the Ministry of Public Health, it will organise a training programme on family mental health and basic mental health care for the Thai community in Denmark.The initiative aims to promote mental wellbeing and provide knowledge for Thais living abroad on how to support themselves and their families. Two specialists from the Ministry of Public Health will lead the training: Dr. Wimalrat Wanpen from the Department of Mental Health Promotion and Development, and Professor Wichai, a clinical psychologist from the Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

The training will take place at the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen from 30–31 August 2025.
