The Swedish Ambassador to Thailand and Thai Minister of Transport presented the Thai-Swedish roadmap for road safety and smart mobility on 15 November.
The new roadmap was presented during an executive meeting between the Thau Ministry of Transport and Team Sweden, according to the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok.
The roadmap is the result of a collaboration between Thai and Swedish public sector and private sector actors during 2018. The aim of this project is to create a platform that enables co-operation through sharing experiences, challenges and best practices between Thailand and Sweden, which will support Thailand in its ambition to improve traffic safety and mobility throughout the country.
H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport and H.E. Ambassador Staffan Herrström, endorsed the roadmap with various key Thai and Swedish stakeholders present.
