The Norwegian Chargé d’Affaires attended TNCC’s Annual General Meeting

On 27 August 2020,The Norwegian Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Tor Haug represented the Norwegian Embassy at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) where over 40 attendances were updated about the Chamber’s achievements in 2019 as well as the plan for 2020.

In his speech, Mr. Haug expressed an appreciation on the close collaboration between TNCC and the Embassy in its efforts to secure a conducive business environment for the members.

Mr. Haug also stated that 2020 will be a challenging year due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, upholding free trade and securing a conducive business environment is more important than ever as economic growth and job creation will be at center bringing the situation back to normal.
