Norwegians and friends of Norway in Thailand are invited to mark this year’s Constitution Day with a special 17 May Dinner, hosted by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC). The event will be held on Saturday 17 May 2025, from 18:30 to 22:30, at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel.
This year’s celebration carries added significance as it commemorates the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Norway, a partnership that began in 1905 and continues to grow across trade, education, sustainability, and cultural exchange.
The evening will bring together the Norwegian community and invited guests for a festive celebration of heritage and unity, with a carefully curated Norwegian-inspired menu, fine wines, and live entertainment. The program features speeches from Norwegian Ambassador H.E. Astrid Emilie Helle and a representative from the Norwegian community, followed by dinner, dancing, and a lucky draw.
Guests may choose from Norwegian salmon steak, braised Wagyu beef cheek, or plant-based meatballs, with traditional desserts such as apple tart and vanilla ice cream. National dress or elegant attire is encouraged to reflect the formal tone of the event.
Tickets are available at THB 3,500 (members) or THB 3,800 (non-members), with the option to reserve a table of eight for THB 26,000. All prices are subject to VAT. Beef selection must be confirmed by 9 May 2025.
