Singles in Thailand have until 4:59 p.m. local time on 10 November to apply for the Finnish Dinner Date. Visit Finland will pick 16 international travellers for four-day, all-expenses-paid food trips in February 2027.
Eight travellers will head to Helsinki and eight to Tampere. Each group will share a tasting menu with two local Finnish singles on a blind group date. The Helsinki dinner will feature dishes from the capital region, while the Tampere dinner will showcase food from Finland’s Lakeland region.
The four-day trips will take place between 9 and 19 February. This winter, Finnair is expanding its flights between Helsinki and Thailand.
How to apply for the Finnish Dinner Date
Applicants must make a video in English explaining what they would serve on a dinner date and why. They can post it on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube using the hashtag #FinnishDinnerDate and tag Visit Finland.
Instagram and TikTok accounts must be public. YouTube applicants can post an unlisted video. Applicants then submit the video link through the online application form.
Visit Finland will contact the selected travellers directly and announce the results on 1 December.
