Ambassador Gröndahl participated the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

“Because every lives that were lost or injured means more than just statistic numbers. Everyone must be more involve and centrally share responsibilities when there’s a road accident. We should do better.” The Swedish Ambassador Jon Åström Gröndahl said at the event ” The Embassy Friends of Road Safety EFRS” on 15 November 2020.

The event was part of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims at the United Nation’s office in Bangkok.

“Let us all remember 20,000 lives that were lost and 1,000,000 injured. Let us all send our support to 60,000 who are now disables from accidents. I hope we will all partake in lessen the numbers and most importantly, save lives.”

The Swedish embassy expressed thanks to their supporters: มูลนิธิเมาไม่ขับ Drinkdontdrive Foundation and World Health Organization WHO.
